There's extremely little on TV that I watch on a regular basis. Heroes and Battlestar Galactica are pretty much it for me. There's always the occasional episode of Good Eats but I promise to never review that show here unless Alton builds something exceptionally cool like the Turkey Derrick. That being said, here's my take on the most recent episodes of my favorite shows (spoilers ahead)...
Battlestar Galactica "No Exit" - Did you get all that? We wanted answers and we got an information dump of them. I've heard disclaimers in car ads where the announcer talked slower than that. Once again we get a brief teaser that Starbuck might be a cylon that's dispelled almost immediately, building more suspense about the questions of who and what she is. Adama more and more is being forced to accept that he's now saving the cylon race as well as the human one. I'm looking forward to Ellen finding the Fleet and reuniting with Saul now that they're both aware of their true natures.
Heroes - "Building 26" - I didn't think they could make me dislike any character more than whiny, emo Peter but they've managed to turn Claire into the teenage version of her uncle. I thought Hiro lost his time & space powers, since when and how can he suddenly travel from The Middle Of Nowhere, America to India while staying "off the grid?" Inconsistencies like this really distract from the story. On the plus side not only has Sylar not killed his sidekick yet, he even gave him some basic training and later rescued him. I'm looking forward to Sylar meeting his father and also to HRG getting some more character development time next week.

Almost makes me want to watch those shows... ALMOST. ;) The turkey derrick, we MUST do. We have 9 months to plan for it. What do ya think Pally?
You might like the show 'Fringe'...it's not really action-science fiction, but it's very clever.
BTW I long for the old days of Battlestar Galactica, when Starbuck was a swashbuckling fighter pilot, and a Cylon was a Cylon...
I already have an 8 foot ladder so we're well on our way to assembling the turkey derrick. You get the burner and the pot and we'll split on the rest of the hardware for the contraption.
My wife watches Fringe sometimes. I tried watching it with her once but I fell asleep. The next time she has it on I'll sit down and give it another try. And normally I'm very old school about my '70s pop culture but I actually like my cylons better covered in skin and full of angst.
