Too Quiet

As circumstances would have it I've actually got the place all to myself for the next couple of days. My wife brought one of the boys back up to Maine and her sister went along for the ride this time so it's just me and the cats here at home. This makes for a very quiet house that I've been compensating for with some louder-than-usual music, one of the advantages of living in a rural area with space between the houses.

This week's episode of Battlestar Galactica (spoiler warning) revealed that Starbuck is not only aware of "All Along the Watchtower" but even knows how to play it. Aside from the other interesting revelations around this development, I was reminded of how much I enjoy Bear McCreary's version of this song. I love the music from BSG and anyone who can make me actually like a Bob Dylan song has definitely accomplished something.
