I'm sure I'm going to come across as an old fogey who fears change but there's just no other way of saying it. News of Apple's stock recently reaching $300 per share did nothing to allay my concerns that those of us in the PC crowd are rapidly becoming dinosaurs who are about to be obliterated by a giant meteorite in the shape of Steve Jobs.
Never mind the fact that I'm just not 100% convinced that the Apple way of doing anything digital is always the best way, all of those iGadgets and iGizmos cost money that I have better uses for. When the digital revolution is over and Jobs' face is the one on the Big Brother video screen, I'll probably be the lone Winston Smith online, hacking away at source code on a PC in a dark and forgotten corner of the web.

I was pure PC-boy too, until I got an iPhone. More expensive, more restrictive with applications and such, but boy does it work smoothly and seamlessly.
Count me as one of the fools to happily greet our future overlords with baskets of papaya and palm fronds.
...looking to get a mortgage now for one of those iMacs...
