Facebook, the current 800-pound gorilla of online social networking has recently added a new "feature" that allows you to see anything your friends post to your other friends' walls. There's no apparent way to turn this feature off and enough of an outcry from users against it that nearly 4,000 of us to date have joined an "Opt Out of the FB Friendship Feature" group.
Just as Facebook killed MySpace, so too will another web site eventually kill Facebook. The ongoing addition of so-called "magical experiences" like this one is only going to speed up that process.
