...at least that's the hope this year. In previous holiday seasons, I've gone completely overboard with decorating the house and baking up a storm full of holiday treats. But this year, for a variety of reasons my holiday spirit is slow to start.
In the past I would have had all of those lights up and the master switch that turns them all thrown on by Thanksgiving night. This time I'm trying different approach by slowing down, taking it easy and not making myself exhausted with all of that work. I might have a few decorations out this weekend, maybe even start some of the scaled-back amount of baking I'm planning.
Hopefully by reducing the amount of work involved I might get a little more actual enjoyment out of Christmas...we'll see.
