Paper Moon

I seriously doubt we'll ever have a paperless society, this is just one example why I don't think it's ever going to happen:
This popped up after I tried to retrieve a forgotten username for my car insurer's web site.  I entered the last 4 digits of my SSN along with my account number, both of which I triple-checked for accuracy and got this as a response.

As far as I know, no one ever got an error message when they mailed an actual paper check to pay for something.
