I've been waiting for a package to be delivered, nothing too precious or important but I'd still rather have it sooner than later. When I checked the package tracking today, I was absolutely mystified by the route my shipment is taking:
For those of you unfamiliar with Massachusetts, I'll illustrate what's wrong with this route with a map. My package went to point A (Shrewsbury) and was then sent to point B (West Springfield) so it could THEN be trucked out to point C (Barre).
I can't imagine anything other than some weird union rules for UPS that would prevent them from just going straight from Shrewsbury to my home. I almost expect they'll be driving out here by way of Cape Cod.
