If I'd actually written to either of my Senators I might be happy to get a response back, even an automated one telling me which addresses I should send my e-mail to. The problem is that I didn't write to either of my Senators about anything.
My best guess is that some anti-SOPA hippie activist thought I'd be okay with them using my e-mail address on my behalf. It's not okay and I'm regretting ever having shown any support for stopping that vile legislation in the first place. It's proof once more that no good deed ever goes unpunished.
